What’s in a Name? Numerology Will Tell

Posted by admin on December 22nd, 2008

Did Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis know she would someday become a celebratedĀ  First Lady? Did Martin Luther King Jr. get any hint he would inspire a socio-cultural revolution? Did Britney Spears have any inkling she would become famous, marry a tool named KFed, and end up shaving all her hair off? Whenever we read the biographies of famous people, we often run into a chapter that describes how they knew - simply knew - what they will someday become even though the ghost of Christmas Future did not tiptoe into their rooms at night to whisper about the life that lies ahead. Many think it’s destiny. To people like Blair Gorman, though, it’s called numerology.

Numerologists believe that a person’s name holds the clue to the future - the person’s future, anyway. What’s in a name? Numerology practitioners think there’s a lot in a name! Using a person’s name, numerology charts can show the different paths that a person may eventually have to take. One path is good and not surprisingly, the other is bad. They can’t be all good, after all, or there wouldn’t be any need for making choices.

A Better Future with Numerology Numbers?

Posted by admin on December 22nd, 2008

Have you heard of numerology? Have you heard of the importance that numbers play in our lives? In numerology, numbers indicate the future. Priests called it Providence. Poets called it chance. Screen legend Greta Garbo, on the other hand, called it a royal pain in the neck. I call it the future but numerology calls it by an entirely different name - destiny.

Like it or not, we all have a destiny. Madonna’s destiny was to be the Material Girl. Pierce Brosnan’s was to play 007. Barrack Obama had a destiny, too, and it’s one millions of Americans helped him achieve when they placed him in the Oval Office. But I digress. In numerology, numbers play a crucial role. They are the bridge between the here and the now, the tie between the present and the future. We don’t know what the future holds but numbers can help us chart our destinies. You see, at the heart of numerology is the idea that everything in the universe is a pattern - a numerical pattern. For us to make the most out of our potential, we need to use this pattern to guide our decisions.

Numerology: Love Matches in Numbers?

Posted by admin on December 22nd, 2008

Pythagoras believed in numerology. Love, life, happiness, sorrow, empires, decisions - all these are, to quote Pythagoras, built upon the power of numbers. And let’s face it - we can’t dismiss Pythagoras as quickly as we dismiss seers, soothsayers, and the modern day $3-per-reading-at-the-country-fair fortune teller. After all, Pythagoras gave Algebra the Pythagorean Theorem. He wasn’t a loon who raved aboutĀ  numerology love and numerology compatibility; he was a man who believed in science and scientific processes. And if Pythagoras believed that the world could quite possibility be built on numbers, numerology couldn’t possibly be all quack, no?

What makes numerology so fascinating is that it while it’s recognized today as a system of magic, at its core is the belief that the universe is made up of mathematical patterns. Math and magic, magic and math - these two do not usually go together but they do in numerology.

Numerology: Compatibility Measured Numerically?

Posted by admin on December 22nd, 2008

How do you determine compatibility? If you ask Blair Gorman, the answer will surely be, “Through numerology!” Gorman is a numerologist and no, a numerologist isn’t a batty person who talks to numbers or scrawls digits all over bedroom walls. What numerologists do is use numbers to identify and thus classify the core figures that one’s decisions can be based on. The principle behind numerology compatibility is simple. We all have lucky numbers that can help us chart the course of our personal and professional lives. For example, have you ever felt that 15 is a lucky number for you? Did your husband propose on the 15th day of the 15th month since the two of you started dating? Was 15 the number of the ticket that won you a door prize or a trip for two to the Hamptons?

Mind you, numerology compatibility doesn’t revolve solely around considering certain numbers as your lucky numbers. While compatibility with certain numbers forms the core of numerology compatibility, these numbers can only be put to work when used as part of a system. Yes, there is such a thing as a numerology system and what’s more, this system is both fascinating and fun. You can consult a numerologist like Gorman to get started on numerology or you can do it yourself, using whatever resources you find online.
